Disney lovers and horrorheads alike will agree that the 2003 Eddie Murphy adaptation is the version that remains in our hearts and minds, and has done so since the film was released. But like with everything else, sometimes projects need a good tuning up to become something greater. Such looks to be the case with Disney’s Haunted Mansion reboot, which has just unveiled an eye-popping poster that has certainly piqued our interests. It seems like a long shot to insist that the movie will be able to compare to the 2003 vehicle’s greatness, but that hasn’t altered the fact that our childhood nostalgia has us wanting to flock to the theaters this summer.

The poster is great, but we definitely want the trailer right now

As mentioned previously, the Haunted Mansion poster was released a day ahead of the official trailer, which has been confirmed to publicly drop tomorrow. And with a trailer that is set to be chock-full of an array of brilliant stars — namely, Owen Wilson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and LaKeith Stanfield — there’s certainly plenty to look forward to. Of course, the fresh-faced reboot will harbor some strong differences in comparison to the 2000s classic, but we’ll surely be seated nevertheless when we slither into the cool theaters during a hot summer.

The Human Centipede franchise is pointless, but it still makes people sick

Without a doubt, the Human Centipede films are disturbingly gory with no actual entertainment value. This notion has been understandably echoed all over Reddit, where commenters insisted that the movie’s “vileness” nearly make it completely unwatchable — despite three movies being made in total. Nevertheless, the gore-filled second entry has emerged from the shadows to remind everyone why it’s an insane movie to actually sit through.

Jump back in here tomorrow, little centipedes, for a brand new horror roundup.
