Latest Jurassic World TV Spot Sees The Indominus Rex Go On A Killing Spree

"And remember if something chases you...run." Not exactly your typical family farewell, but in a world where towering dinosaurs is the norm, it's pretty sound advice. Starring Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Chris Pratt as Owen, the sequel will take the genetic experiments one step further. In the time that has lapsed since the original Jurassic Park and its then groundbreaking science, the concept of dinosaurs roaming the earth in the 21st century has all become a bit humdrum. So, to spice up the formula — quite literally — and inject some life into the newly-opened park, the film’s scientists make the ill-advised decision to cook up a Frankenstein’s monster-style beast in the form of the Indominus Rex, which is the undisputed star of the latest TV spot.

Sporting glacier-white skin and blood-red eyes, the genetically-modified behemoth is a force to be reckoned with, with Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing even revealing that the creature ate its sibling when penned up in the artificial confinement. Mind you, it doesn’t seem to be long before the Rex is out roaming the wild.

Jurassic World will roar into theaters on June 12. For now, tell us, are you excited to see Colin Trevorrow’s reboot-sum-sequel in its final form? Let us know in the comments section below.
