Task Force X has officially seized control of Empire Magazine – subscribers were recently treated to a special Harley Quinn cover – and after premiering a fresh peek at Margot Robbie’s unhinged psychopath in action, the outlet has now ushered Cara Delevingne’s mystical Enchantress into the limelight.

Though she’ll be introduced as the sweet, kind-hearted June Moone, reports have been swirling that Delevingne’s enigma is actually the chief villain in Suicide Squad. However that may be, Empire has offered up a new look at Moone’s dark side.

Included in the gallery above are new images of Jared Leto’s Clown Prince of Crime, and each still is as unnerving as the next. Yes, Mr. J is without question one of the biggest points of interest going into Suicide Squad, and fans of the Joker can be safe in the knowledge that Jared Leto’s supervillain will have a future beyond David Ayer’s anti-hero feature.

Suicide Squad opens on August 5. Be sure to hang around afterwards though, when a mid-credits sequence is expected to light up theaters. There won’t, however, be an end-credits scene – that we know of, that is.

If you want to cram in some last-minute homework, our own Sarah Myles recently offered a play-by-play breakdown of Task Force X. Beyond that, keep your peepers peeled on We Got This Covered tomorrow, with the film’s embargo set to lift on Tuesday, August 2.
