It seems that Rupert Wyatt, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes director, may have to drop out of directing Londongrad. Warner Bros. were reportedly chasing Wyatt to direct and Michael Fassbender to star in the project, which is being produced by Johnny Depp and Graham King.

Now, Wyatt looks unable to direct Londongrad because Fox are fast tracking the sequel to Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes. It is unclear if Fassbender is still in negotiations, but hopefully he is.

The only way that Wyatt can stay on as director is if Warner Bros. want to shelve the project and wait for Wyatt to finish the Apes sequal, but somehow. I suppose that’s a possibility but somehow I can’t see Warner Bros. taking that route.
