For the latest example, SuperBroMovies have a dropped a spoiler on the return of a certain mystic that’s long been a subject of speculation when it comes to the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel. We are, of course, referring to the Ancient One, with executive producer Michael Grillo reportedly spilling the beans at the Austin Film Festival. From the sound of things, Grillo let it slip in passing while discussing the crazy experience of putting this movie together, saying:

“[W]hen we got Tilda Swinton, she was just a 1-day availability”

It doesn’t sound like she’ll be getting a huge amount of screen time, then, but given the number of heroes packed into this picture, everyone will have to take what they can get.

Though Swinton’s character seemingly passed away in Doctor Strange, there remains a pretty hefty amount of evidence that Avengers 4 will involve a journey into the past, whether it’s through literal time travel or Tony Stark’s B.A.R.F. technology.

On a similar note, Frank Grillo confirmed just earlier this week that the villainous Crossbones will be coming back for next year’s flick. Like the Ancient One, he too seemed to meet his end in Captain America: Civil War, but the actor says that he’ll be appearing through “flashback.”

From the sound of things, Avengers 4 is going to be hopping all over the MCU timeline when it hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
