Marvel Cinematic Universe Chart Shows Which Of Our Heroes Still Haven’t Met

Just as we all live in the same universe but haven’t all met, the same goes for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, despite the recent Avengers: Infinity War, and presumably the upcoming Avengers 4, offering a vast array of superhero crossover moments.

This chart posted to Reddit serves as a comprehensive view of which of Marvel’s main characters have yet to cross paths, and we’re still seeing a lot of meetings that are just waiting to happen. As you’d imagine, the Avengers ‘A’s – which indicate characters who aren’t yet acquainted – seem especially numerous when it comes to the Guardians of the Galaxy, who’ve only just been exposed to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and their associates in this year’s Infinity War.

While the Guardians were mostly killed in the last Avengers movie, actor Dave Bautista has already made it clear that most, if not all, of the team will be featuring in May’s sequel. However, another character who’s looking a little isolated on this chart is Loki, and the jury’s still out on whether the brother of Thor will be around to make new friends in future MCU films – though his planned TV show certainly raises the former villain’s chances.

You may also notice that Doctor Strange still has some networking to do. While Infinity War saw him turn to dust during Thanos’ purging of the universe, it’s been widely speculated that his plan for the future will play a key part in the fight against the Mad Titan, so perhaps the man himself will also be present once more.

Incidentally, though Thanos doesn’t feature on this chart, he’s probably done a better job at meeting the various major players of the MCU than most of these characters. And we’ll get to see what kind of send-off our heroes have planned for the tyrant when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019.
