Marvel Fans Flock To Twitter To Wish Chris Evans A Happy Birthday

The man behind Captain America turns 38 today, and fans from all over have flocked to Twitter to wish Chris Evans a happy birthday.

If you’re a diehard MCU fan, you’ll no doubt know that there are way too many important dates to keep track of, especially if you want to be familiar with the ins and outs of every single facet of the universe. However, for those who are more interested in the actors and actresses that keep us entertained, there are fewer dates to be mindful of. Hint: today is one of them.

Nearly a decade ago, Chris Evans hit the big screen to bring Captain America to life and has since been featured in nearly a dozen MCU films (assuming we count uncredited cameos and post-credits scenes). While he may have retired from his role as Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame, his contribution to the franchise won’t be forgotten anytime soon, and earlier today, fans flocked to Twitter to wish the star a happy birthday.

For those who weren’t aware, Evans turned 38 today, having been born on June 13th, 1981. A few of his fellow actors even got in on the fun, as evidenced by a tweet from none other than Mark Ruffalo.

Despite his young age, it’s clear that Evans has touched a lot of hearts with his on-screen appearances. In fact, we recently took a look at his filmography and discovered that, over the course of his career, Chris has portrayed eight different comic book characters across 20 or so movies. Putting aside his role as Captain America, he’s also starred as Lucas Lee (from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Casey Jones (in TMNT), and the Human Torch/Jonny Storm in two Fantastic Four films.

It’s clear that Chris Evans has a long career ahead of him and we can’t wait to see what he does next. Until then though, everyone here at We Got This Covered wishes him a very happy birthday!
