Thanks in part to the recent success of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum – not to mention the new Toy Story 4 – Keanu Reeves is currently one of the internet’s favorite, most meme-able film stars. So when Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige told ComicBook.com earlier this month that he and his team have approached the actor for almost every movie they make, it was all too predictable that the fancasts would come flooding in.
Over on Twitter, for instance, we’ve seen a vast array of suggestions that range from Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four to Namor to Adam Warlock. Apparently, there’s an abundance of ways in which Marvel Studios could make use of the Matrix star, but until an actual casting decision is confirmed, fans can still get a kick out of imagining what might be.

To add another name to the above list, Reeves himself has repeatedly gone on record expressing an interest in being the next Wolverine. And while it’s likely that Disney will ultimately recruit a younger actor to play the adamantium-clawed mutant, that hasn’t stopped the fans from showing their support for the idea.
Meanwhile, recent reports indicate that Marvel is considering Reeves for a role in The Eternals. If he gets the gig, then he’ll be joining the likes of Angelina Jolie for one of the first entries in the MCU’s Phase 4, though Feige’s comments to ComicBook.com suggest that Chloé Zhao’s upcoming flick is just the latest of multiple Marvel movies that Reeves has been eyed for.
In any case, only time will tell if, when and how Reeves will join the Marvel family. But in the meantime, the MCU’s Phase 3 comes to a close with the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 2nd.
