A handful of lucky journalists were recently treated to a tour around the Marvel offices, and while there, they got to see a lot of cool content from Phase 3. Though the likes of Avengers: Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok may be grabbing people’s attention at the moment, another sequel on the way which shouldn’t be forgotten is Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The movie hasn’t started shooting just yet, but concept art from the film was on display and it apparently revealed that Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang will once again take on his Giant-Man form in the upcoming blockbuster. The titular heroes working together was shown alongside shots of them fleeing from a dog while miniaturized. Apparently, the sequel is going to feature various objects made both small and large, including a variety of vehicles.
New costumes for the characters were also on display, with minor changes made to both, such as silver sleeves on the Wasp’s outfit. The original Wasp’s costume was featured in the concept art quite a bit a well, a sure sign that we can expect to get a lot more of her in the sequel as Hank Pym sets out to recover his wife from the Quantum Realm.
When we’ll get to see something official from Ant-Man and The Wasp is still unclear, but it’s worth noting that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has also confirmed today that they’ll be returning to Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con this July, so it’s a good bet that everything will be rolled out in just a few months’ time. As always, watch this space for more.
