Meet Star-Munch In New Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 TV Spot

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is nearly with us - we know, we can't believe it either - and the promotional campaign has been kicked into high gear. Recently, we had new magazine covers and a few awesome images, among several exciting trailers. As if all that wasn't enough though, now yet another TV spot has found its way online, and though it's a bit brief, it's certainly worth a watch.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is nearly with us – we know, we can’t believe it either – and the promotional campaign has been kicked into high gear. Recently, we had new magazine covers and a few awesome images, among several exciting trailers. As if all that wasn’t enough though, now yet another TV spot has found its way online, and though it’s a bit brief, it’s certainly worth a watch.

While mostly made up of shots we’ve already seen, there’s definitely some new footage in there as well, as we get to see Star-Lord breaking down the team and then receiving a rude nickname from Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon. Needless to say, Peter Quill isn’t all that happy about being called “Star-Munch” by his teammate. If nothing else, the preview once again emphasizes the type of humour we can expect from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, something we know James Gunn delivered on with the first instalment and will no doubt do with this outing as well.

Expectations for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are high – understandably so – and while Gunn is uncertain about a third instalment, you have to believe Marvel is already mulling it over, especially when there’s so much positive buzz surrounding the sequel, with recent test screenings scoring through the roof.

There’s not long to go now until Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 reaches theaters and you can certainly feel the excitement building. Let’s just hope that it’s able to deliver on the ridiculous levels of hype surrounding it.
