Great news folks! For those wondering when the beautiful and extremely talented Natalie Portman would return to acting, we now have the answer.
After a far too long hiatus from the acting world due to the birth of her son (and a rumoured retirement) Portman will return to her profession by starring in two of Terrence Malick‘s upcoming films; Knight of Cups and Lawless.
Deadline tells us that Knight Of Cups is set to shoot first and will star Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas. As for Lawless, it will shoot next and star Bale, Blanchett, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, and Haley Bennett.
Aside from Malick’s films, Portman still has Thor 2 on her plate, which she is confirmed for. With three projects set to go, it’s safe to say that Natalie Portman is back and personally, I couldn’t be happier.
Portman is my favorite actress, hands down and like many others, I’ve missed her presence on the silver screen this year. To see her choose two Malick projects for her return is extremely pleasing and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us.
