As far as Avengers: Infinity War‘s release schedule is concerned, it seems as if Marvel Studios has officially entered crunch time.

The film is complete, of course, but with less than a week to go until D-Day, the Powers That Be are beginning to tread that fine line between promoting Infinity War and spoiling Infinity War. From clips to TV spots and everything in between, we’ve seen an awful lot from the movie in recent weeks and today, that continues with yet another promo that unfortunately, mostly features recycled footage.

What’s interesting about this one, however, is that it takes us back to the start. Not the start of the MCU, mind you, but to the titular team’s first outing together – 2012’s The Avengers. Remember that film? Yeah, it’s only one of the highest grossing movies, ever, and here, we get a look at its famous Battle of New York finale, which kicks off the promo before we transition to footage from Infinity War itself.

It’s short and sweet and frankly, that’s okay. Because with only a few days left until the event movie to end all event movies hits theaters, Marvel Studios is seriously running the risk of spoiling Avengers: Infinity War prior to its grand debut. After all, a film of this size and scope practically sells itself (it has upwards of 23 heroes, for crying out loud!), so we’re hopeful that those in charge will begin to rein things in now that April 27th is right around the corner – I know, we can hardly believe it, either.

And when Joe and Anthony Russo’s herculean blockbuster does arrive, it’ll reportedly be looking at an opening weekend in the region of $235 million. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?
