As we draw closer to the release of Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, the clips are arriving more and more frequently. Several of the main cast members have been doing the talk-show rounds over the past week or so, and when Ben Affleck appeared on Ellen he brought this intriguing new sneak peek from the movie with him.

This tense exchange between Bruce Wayne (Affleck) and his loyal butler brother-in-arms Alfred (Jeremy Irons) was teased in the trailers, but here we see the full extent of Dark Knight’s conviction. Wayne is adamant that Superman is a threat in waiting that needs to be neutralized before it’s too late, but Alfred firmly believes they are all ultimately on the same side.

Of course, we already know the two iconic heroes wind up trading blows – but something tells me a certain Lex Luthor may have more to do with the anger building up in both men than even they realize.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.
