With the end of 2016 rapidly approaching, we’re now just a few months away from the release of Logan. The next trailer is believed to be right around the corner, and Hugh Jackman has today shared an image of a brand new banner being constructed featuring a fresh look at his iconic clawed mutant.

In some ways, it’s a little sad to see the Assassin’s Creed artwork being covered up here after fans of the Michael Fassbender-led film hoped it would launch a new franchise, but given its recent performance at the box office, perhaps this happening shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.

Regardless, it should be a lot of fun seeing this Logan banner when it’s completed, and Fox will no doubt release an official version online in due course. So far, the movie’s marketing campaign has fans buzzing. Between the incredible first teaser trailer and an intriguing series of black and white photos, Jackman’s final adventure as Wolverine has all the makings of a hit.

Whether or not it will deliver a satisfying end to the character’s story remains to be seen, but Fox’s Marvel movies won’t be the same without Wolverine. Of course, Logan looks good enough that Jackman’s tenure coming to an end is actually not too hard to deal with. Still, it would be nice to think he could be talked into just one more movie
