Following the release of a very cool Super Bowl TV spot last night, Fox has now unveiled five brand new images from James Mangold’s Logan. While we do get a fresh look at Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and X-23 (Dafne Keen), these shots also give us our best look yet at two of the movie’s villains who fans are very excited to see in action.

First up is Richard E. Grant’s Zander Rice, the creator of X-23 and the apparent big bad of Logan. Is he secretly working for Mister Sinister? That’s been the most popular fan theory since that intriguing X-Men: Apocalypse post-credits scene, but Mangold recently stated that he has no plans for the character to appear in this more grounded final adventure for Wolverine. Do you believe him, though?

Next up is Boyd Holbrook’s mysterious Donald Pierce. Logan marks arguably the most significant big screen role for the Narcos star to date, and he’s the leader of the cybernetically enhanced Reavers. Tasked with bringing in X-23, his job will obviously lead to him clashing with Wolverine, though it’s believed he’s more than just muscle and might play a larger role in the grand scheme of things.

While these images may not spill the beans on what we should expect from the still very mysterious Logan (which is no bad thing), they still provide an excellent look at the characters who will be taking centre stage when the threequel is released early next month.

Tell us, which of Logan‘s heroes and villains intrigue you the most? Sound off down below with your answer!
