We always knew Empire’s Spectre special would bring us much more information about Sam Mendes’ highly-anticipated spy sequel, and we’re now beginning to see the fruits of this hot off the presses coverage.

Following up on yesterday’s on-set video of Bond’s Aston Martin, the outlet has served up a pair of images that showcase Léa Seydoux and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista in character as Dr. Madeleine Swann and ominous henchman Mr. Hinx, respectively. Hot on the heels of his well-received turn in Marvel’s space oddity, the former WWE wrestler spoke about the nature of his “badass” character, who doesn’t appear to be a million miles away from Drax the Destroyer.

When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions. I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, ‘Yes, he’s a badass.’ I said, ‘Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?’ He said, ‘Very.’ That’s what I like about Mr. Hinx. He’s very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I’m not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is.

Production on Spectre has now switched to the city streets of Rome as Sam Mendes’ crew captures a high-octane car chase in the Italian capital — hence the Aston Martin getting some screen time. Mendes’ latest installment in the long-running franchise will bring together Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Sherlock star Andrew Scott.

Daniel Craig will pick up the tux and Walter PPK once more when Spectre arrives in theaters on November 6, 2015. For now, be sure to check out the gallery below for your first peek at Bautista and Seydoux in character.

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
