Spectre Adorns Empire Magazine Covers As New On-Set Footage Of Aston Martin Surfaces

Such is the magnetic power and appeal of James Bond that even though filming on Sam Mendes' anticipated sequel began a mere two months ago, Spectre is already grabbing headlines left, right and center. In fact, the spy actioner has also earned the coveted title of being the cover star for this month's issue of Empire magazine. Featuring a close-up shot of Daniel Craig as the 00 agent, you can glimpse the images through the gallery below.

Arriving alongside this tidbit was a new behind-the-scenes clip that featured Bond’s trusty vehicular companion, the Aston Martin. Now that work has all but wrapped on Spectre‘s stint atop the Austrian Alps, production has moved to Rome to capture a high-octane car chase, which has no doubt become a staple of the franchise throughout the course of its reputable cinematic history. The above clip is but a teaser of what’s to come, as it’s understood that locations for the car chase(s) will encompass Barberini, Quattro Fontane Nazionale, Borgo Pio, and the Milvian Bridge.

Circling back to Empire’s soon-to-be-released issue, however, and fans of Bond can surely look forward to learning much more about Sam Mendes’ latest directorial effort. It’s understood that the issue is set to hit newsstands on February 26, so we’ll keep you posted should we learn any new information pertaining to Craig’s next outing as 007.

Spectre is due to debut in theaters on November 6, 2015.
