Here’s How Norman Osborn Will Be Introduced Into The MCU

Though Norman Osborn isn't in Spider-Man: Far From Home, he'll still be showing up soon and here's how he'll be introuced.

For the most part, and despite Tom Holland’s shocking ability to apparently spoil everything, Phase 4 of the MCU has been kept tightly under wraps so far.

It’s already been revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will act as a post-Endgame epilogue to Phase 3, with much of the focus being placed on Peter Parker (and Mysterio!) dealing with the ramifications of what happened in April’s blockbuster, but beyond that, Kevin Feige and co. haven’t really said much about what comes next. And long may that continue, as we’re sure they’ve got some juicy surprises in store for us.

This being the MCU, though, there are always going to be leaks and rumors and something that was widely reported on over the last few weeks was Norman Osborn, with many expecting him to show up in Far From Home. Turns out that was all bogus, though, as those who’ve seen the film have confirmed that there’s no sign of the big bad at all, but that’s not to say the sequel doesn’t plant the seeds for his arrival.

Spoilers to follow from here on out….

As you’ll know if you’ve seen the pic, the post-credits scene (well, one of them), sees Mysterio outing Spidey to the world, revealing his identity and framing him for crimes he didn’t commit. As such, Peter Parker is now a villain in the eyes of the general public and apparently, this is exactly what’ll pave the way for Mr. Osborn.

Sources close to We Got This Covered have explained that the plot of Spider-Man 3 will see someone trying to assemble a squad of sorts to catch Spidey, now that everyone thinks he’s evil. That someone, apparently, will be Norman Osborn and this squad will eventually become the Sinister Six, with both Vulture and Scorpion set to return in the threequel.

Of course, this all depends on what Sony has planned, as our source says there’s a chance they may not let Marvel use Norman in Spider-Man 3, and if that’s the case, the studio will need to find someone else to lead the team. But either way, that’s the general storyline they want to go with. At least, at this early stage, and should we hear anything more about it, we’ll be sure to let you know.
