Oscar Isaac’s ancient mutant is ready to bring the world to its knees – and don’t we know all about it.

With little over a month to go until the arrival of Bryan Singer’s biblical blockbuster X-Men: Apocalypse, yet another poster has emerged from 20th Century Fox, this time assembling much of the threequel’s leading cast members.

Indeed, whereas previous posters have spotlighted the Four Horsemen – Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Alexandra Shipp (Storm) and Ben Hardy (Angel) – not to mention Professor X and his legion of mutant allies, the latest one-sheet to arrive on the scene tees up an all-out war.

Looming large over everyone else is, of course, Oscar Isaac’s En Sabah Nur, a former Egyptian pharaoh that abruptly rises from his generation-spanning slumber with one intention in mind – to destroy everything man and mutantkind have built, and in the ashes of their world, build a “better one.”

Rounding out the enviable cast list for Apocalypse are James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Nicholas Hoult, along with the Four Horsemen – Fassbender, Munn, Shipp and Hardy.

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse descends into theaters in time for May 27.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
