Avengers: Endgame

Part Of The Black Widow Comic-Con Trailer Has Leaked Online

Well, that didn't take too long. Part of the Black Widow trailer shown at Comic-Con last weekend has now leaked online, and you can see it here.

Cate Shortland’s Black Widow has been shooting for several months now and at last weekend’s Marvel Studios panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, those in attendance got to lay eyes on some footage from the titular hero’s long-awaited solo outing.

Though the trailer has yet to make its way onto the web, and may not for a while, we know that it revisited the flashbacks of Nat’s childhood from Avengers: Age of Ultron, while also showing scenes from The Avengers and Captain America: Civil War. Meanwhile, via voiceover, it had Black Widow reflecting on her life and some of the key events from the various MCU movies, while also packing in a healthy dose of action and enticing teases.

Again, all we’ve had to go on up until now have been trailer descriptions, but finally, the footage has leaked online and can be seen down below. We’ll warn you, though, it’s mostly just the audio that’s come through here, with only brief snippets of the video being visible throughout. A lot of it’s obscured and blocked, but parts of it can still be glimpsed and frankly, we’ll take what we can get at this stage.

So, that’s what fans at SDCC apparently witnessed, and until we find out when we might get to see the footage for ourselves in proper HD via an officially released trailer, this leaked audio/video will have to do. That being said, we imagine the promotion for the pic will begin sooner rather than later.

After all, Black Widow hits theaters on May 1st, 2020, which may seem like a while away, but it’s less than a year out and we’d be very surprised if Marvel doesn’t drop the first trailer by November/December. Fingers crossed, eh?
