Well, it’s about time! As you can see, Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron finally has his own Star Wars: The Force Awakens character poster. The official Twitter account for the movie has also revealed that he’ll be going by the “Black Leader” title as he takes charge of the fleet of X-Wings we’ve seen in the trailers and TV spots.
That’s cool and all, but the featurette above is even better. Shown during the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at the Brazil Comic-Con yesterday, it includes some awesome behind the scenes footage, including John Boyega cheekily asking Harrison Ford to sign his Star Wars action figure. There’s also a very rare sighting of Mark Hamill, though not as Luke Skywalker; instead, he’s one of the many cast members being interviewed in the video.
Like the featurette shown off in San Diego back in July, this new look at the movie is sure to get long time Star Wars fans a little emotional. Thankfully, there’s not too long to wait now until the film his theatres.
Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
