Lionsgate has released a new international trailer and one-sheet for their upcoming adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s horror parody of the classic Jane Austen period tale, Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.
The trailer features quite a bit of new footage of the five Bennet sisters – Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Sukie Waterhouse) – in action, as they take it upon themselves to cleanse merry old England of the forces of the undead.
It all looks a bit pedestrian, and director Burr Steers seems to be taking the material far more seriously than it should be – but fans of the brain-eaters will no doubt find something to enjoy. Plus, the cast is pretty solid and features a lot of exciting, young talent.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is set to arrive in theaters on February 5, 2016, and in the meantime, you can check out the synopsis and a new poster featuring the entire cast of zombie-slayers below.
