Red Band Trailer Lands For Simon Pegg Hitman Comedy Kill Me Three Times

Magnet Releasing has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming comedy actioner, Kill Me Three Times. The film bowed last year on the festival circuit and has since garnered favorable reviews. Directed by Kriv Stenders from a script by newcomer James McFarland, Kill Me Three Times focuses on Pegg’s morally-bankrupt assassin, Charlie Wolfe, who quickly agrees to a job promising him a 50 grand payday. He soon hightails it to the Aussie surfing town of Eagle’s Nest, where things get interesting. Not only is the hit on a rather attractive woman, but there’s also several other professionals after the loot. Things proceed to twist and turn from there as various secrets come to light.

For the most part, the movie’s touted as a move away from the types of material Pegg normally tackles. However, judging by the opening section of the new red-band trailer, that’s not the case whatsoever. Honing in on his trademark comedy stylings, there’s no question that his foppish hitman might be deadly, but he’s also quite humorous.

Co-starring Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire), and Luke Hemsworth (The Anomaly), Kill Me Three Times will arrive on iTunes/On Demand March 26th and in theaters April 10th.

A mercurial assassin (Simon Pegg) discovers he isn’t the only person trying to kill the siren (Alice Braga) of a sun-drenched surfing town. In this darkly comedic thriller, the hitman finds himself unraveling three tales of mayhem, murder, blackmail and revenge.
