In the wake of shooting his latest horror flick earlier this year, Zombie was consistently generous when it came to promotional images, ranging from various character-spotlighting posters to several behind-the-scenes pics. But just in these last couple of months, after the director joined his shock rocker friend on the road, his online publicity for the movie died down considerably.

With his recent Instagram posts, we could see Zombie returning to his previous level of activity, with the director sharing a pair of photos that show off the film’s stars Bill Moseley, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Sheri Moon Zombie and Richard Brake. “Now that the tour is over it is back to work on THREE FROM HELL!” reads the caption of one such pic.

To be clear, none of this necessarily indicates any further work between Zombie and Three from Hell, with the caption also indicating that at least one of the photos was taken on the last night of shooting. But while filming may have wrapped back in April, we’ve yet to get any proper footage from the upcoming flick. Even the first teaser trailer which screened on the Manson tour consisted largely of still images and old clips.

Still, the set pics have given us plenty to speculate on, with various photos suggesting some courtroom drama for the titular trio of Three From Hell. Though we still have no official release date, you can expect the sequel to arrive in cinemas around mid-2019, at which point Moseley assures us that our “mindsies are gonna be big time blown.”
