Rob Zombie Confirms September 2019 Release For 3 From Hell

Over on Facebook, Rob Zombie confirmed plans to release 3 From Hell in September of this year, with a new (and longer!) trailer expected in July.

Three From Hell

Rob Zombie has officially blown the lid off 3 From Hell, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Kicking off the week in style, Zombie sent horror fans into a tizzy just yesterday with the delightfully gruesome teaser trailer, which offered a sneak peek into the twisted world of his follow-up to The Devil’s Rejects. And though many are already sold on the idea of 3 From Hell, the musician-cum-filmmaker has since announced that a new, extended preview will be released next month – just in time for the film’s theatrical release in September.

That’s right; we can expect 3 From Hell to hit the big screen in three months’ time, by which point we should have a better understanding of Zombie’s master plan for Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie).

Here’s a little status report, courtesy of the director’s Facebook feed:

1. Is Spaulding in the movie? Yes of course he is.
2. When does the movie take place? Immediately following Rejects.
3. How do they survive? Well, you have to see the film for that answer.
4. When is it coming out. The movie will be in theaters in September. Not sure of exact release date yet.
5. When do we get a longer trailer? In July.

Spaulding, Otis, and Baby are undoubtedly the beating heart of this cult franchise, so it’s exciting to see them returning to the fore. They won’t be alone, mind you, as Rob Zombie and the casting crew have filled their boots with an ensemble for the ages. Joining Haig, Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie later this year are Danny Trejo, Kevin Jackson, Wade Williams, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Clint Howard, Pancho Moler, Emilio Rivera, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Sean Whalen, Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Richard Brake, Bill Oberst Jr., Richard Riehle, Dot-Marie Jones and Tom Papa.

Look for 3 From Hell to introduce a little anarchy when Rob Zombie’s long-gestating sequel slithers into theaters in September. Still no sign of a concrete release date just yet, but we’ll notify you if and when that changes.
