Cine1 has posted what appears to be the first RoboCop teaser poster. Though the site is known for posting new, theatrical posters all the time, they also have a habit of putting up convincing fan-made efforts as well. The studio hasn’t made an official statement as of yet, so right now, we can’t be sure if this is real or not.
Either way, RoboCop is one reboot I’m excited for. For starters, star Joel Kinnaman has said the film will be more human, which is going to be interesting. The iconic visor will be see through and the actor will likely add a strong human element to the character. If his work on The Killing is anything to go by, then Kinnaman should have no problem effectively leading the film.
RoboCop is set to release on August 9th, 2013 and stars Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, and Hugh Laurie.
