Scarlet Witch could have a major impact on Phase Five and beyond, but your dream Wanda project is still off the board

The MCU has big plans for Wanda.

A rumor shared online seems to suggest that Wanda Maximoff could be set to return to the big screen in a number of upcoming MCU projects, but there’s no word on the one thing fans are hoping for.

Although she was supposedly killed off at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it’s long been speculated that the Scarlet Witch will be making her way back from the dead in some way or another. After all, her character had just begun to get interesting and the fan response to Elizabeth Olsen’s character means that Marvel will likely be keeping her around.

Many suggested that Wanda should get a solo movie and whilst that would be great to see, it seems that is off the cards for now. However, sources claim that she will be in other MCU entries with the first being Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Seeing as Agatha was introduced in WandaVision as an antagonist, it makes sense that Wanda would make an appearance in the show. How exactly she will be returning, well, we don’t know yet.

But that’s not all, the hero turned villain will also allegedly be appearing in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.Whether she will be there to aid or hinder the heroes is not currently known, although her change of heart at the end of the second Doctor Strange suggests that she will be joining the forces of good.

Fans welcomed the news celebrating the fact that we’ll be seeing more Wanda in the future.

However, others lamented the fact that there is still no news regarding a solo Wanda film.

Whether these rumors turn out to be accurate or not, it seems like a safe bet to assume we’ll be seeing the queen of chaos back in the MCU at some point. Hopefully we’ll find out sooner rather than later, considering how much of a fan favorite she is.
