This morning, we brought you an update on the much-awaited Avengers: Age Of Ultron. No, it wasn’t the trailer itself (don’t be silly), but rather news revealing the time and place where the preview will in fact debut. During an unknown commercial break on next week’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., an exclusive trailer will air to at last satisfy those of us who weren’t at Comic-Con.
Well, if that’s STILL too long to wait, then feast your eyes on a pair of new images from the movie. The pics surfaced on Twitter (via Screen Crush) from an unknown source, and are allegedly screen caps from the trailer. We’d previously learned that Tony Stark’s infamous Hulkbuster armour was set to make an appearance, after artwork dropped showing him donning the suit. Now we’ve an actual glimpse at a live-action version of Stark in the outfit, along with a brand new look at James Spader’s Ultron.
Marvel’s second Avengers outing will bring Phase Two to its epic conclusion, in a way that’s shaping up to be really quite dark. If Tony is stepping up to the plate in his Hulkbuster armour, then what exactly is scheduled to go down between the two allies? Hopefully the trailer will shed more light on this when it premieres on October 28th.
For those who’d prefer to see the finished product, you’ve a while to wait, as Avengers: Age Of Ultron opens on May 1st, 2015.
When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
