The Millennium Falcon has received a new lick of paint. And we mean that in every sense of the word.

Before the Corellian light freighter fell into the hands of Chewie and Han, the Falcon was a slick, refined space vessel that belonged to Lando Calrissian. And, well, it’s fair to say that the smooth-talking galactic operator was a little more proactive about maintenance and repairs.

Because in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ron Howard will be peeling back the tarpaulin of a remodeled Millennium Falcon, long before it gained its reputation as the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. It’s a character in its own right, according to Howard, and we now have a better look at it thanks to this new TV spot – seen up above – which shows off the iconic spaceship in all its glory, teasing what look to be some epic action sequences revolving around it.

Speaking of which, when you look back at the Star Wars franchise as a whole, it’s notable how many awesome scenes the Falcon has made its own over the years; whether it’s being swallowed by an Exogorth in The Empire Strikes Back, barreling through the exploding Death Star in the finale of Return of the Jedi, spinning chaotically through the Jakku junkyard or being piloted through a crimson cavern in The Last Jedi

All of those were among the highlights of their respective films, so all eyes will be on Ron Howard to deliver something that can stand proudly alongside them. And we’ll find out soon enough if he’s done just that, as Solo: A Star Wars Story is booked in for a world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 15th before storming theaters across the world on May 25th.
