The Sound Of The Hunger Games

Ever wonder what went into the sound mixing/editing of The Hunger Games? I'm guessing the answer is no. The average moviegoer probably doesn't know a whole lot about sound mixing/editing, which is a shame. It's a big part of any filmmaking process and the people who work on it have a very tough job.

Ever wonder what went into the sound mixing/editing of The Hunger Games? I’m guessing the answer is no. The average moviegoer probably doesn’t know a whole lot about sound mixing/editing, which is a shame. It’s a big part of any filmmaking process and the people who work on it have a very tough job.

On that note, today we have a must watch featurette on what went into the sound design of The Hunger Games. For anyone who has seen the film, and even for those that haven’t, it’s an interesting look as it sheds light on an area that like I said, I’m sure not many moviegoers are very knowledgeable about. The video is actually quite well done too and it comes to us from the Sound Works Collection, a company that produces these featurettes for a lot of big studio films.

Plus, it’s about The Hunger Games, and apparently everyone loves The Hunger Games, right?

Check it out below and let us know what you think.
