Marvel toys don’t always accurately reflect the content of the films they tie in with, and seeing how we’ve already witnessed Peter Parker rocking two new outfits in the trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, there’s certainly reason to be skeptical that the movie will be making room for a third suit. But for the sake of leaving no stone unturned, we present the design which was on display at New York Toy Fair this weekend.
As you can see below, the costume isn’t too far removed from the familiar red-and-blue outfit, but with some white accents that suggest an adaptation of the Spider-UK suit that featured in the Marvel’s Spider-Man game. Though it’s hard to imagine a scenario in the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel where Peter would be required put on such a costume, it’s at least confirmed that he’s making a trip to Britain, so who knows?
As it stands, the two suits that we’re sure Spidey will be wearing in his next solo flick are a red-and-black outfit and a black stealth suit, the latter of which just might have been given to him by a revitalized S.H.I.E.L.D. In his quest to take down Elementals, however, Peter will be paired up with an even more flamboyantly dressed partner named Quentin Beck, better known as Mysterio, who was shown in the film’s first trailer to be wearing the classic fishbowl helmet and cape.
We’ll see how long this unlikely double act can last when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5th, 2019, though not before we find out how Peter’s back in the world of the living when Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26th.
