Spider-Man: Homecoming Adds The Nice Guys’ Angourie Rice

We thought the final two additions to the seemingly ever-expanding cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming would surely be the last, but they just keep coming. THR has just announced that The Nice Guys breakout star, Angourie Rice, will also head to Atlanta to join Tom Holland and co., who are currently shooting the Marvel/Sony Spidey reboot.

The 15-year-old Aussie actress doesn’t have a whole lot on her CV just yet, but she’s coming off huge critical acclaim for her role as Ryan Gosling’s character’s daughter in Shane Black’s action comedy.

No details on her role in Homecoming are given (for a change), but considering most of the other younger cast members seem to be playing students in Peter Parker’s high-school, it’s a decent bet Rice is too. Of course, that hasn’t stopped the speculation from kicking into overdrive, and many fans reckon she’s either been cast as Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy, AKA Black Cat.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theatres on July 7th, 2017. Tell us, do you think Rice will wind up playing an established Marvel Comics character? Sound off below and let us know.
