First spotted by the eagle-eyed folks over at Making Star Wars, the gallery below features all of your favorite heroes (and rogues!), including Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, who is once again seen wielding that deadly crossguard lightsaber. Formerly known as Ben Solo before the events of The Force Awakens, Driver’s character defected to the dark side of the Force under the influence of Supreme Leader Snoke, the humanoid alien that has been quietly plotting the downfall of the Resistance from the shadows.

Perched on his hologram throne all throughout J.J. Abrams’ revival, earlier this week we clocked eyes on a sketch that purportedly revealed an “accurate” depiction of Snoke as he’ll appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And as you’ll see from the gallery above, it turns out that sketch got the Supreme Leader’s anatomy down to a tee and yes, Snoke is still u-g-l-y.

Last and certainly not least, there’s also a new action shot of Luke Skywalker and his trusty stick, along with those Elite Praetorian Guards that have been doing the rounds of late.

Balancing the old with the new – the “familiar” with the “unfamiliar” – Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set for release on December 15th. It’s the second part of Disney’s rebooted trilogy, though all involved have been quick to point out how Rian Johnson’s follow-up has the look and feel of a standalone Star Wars movie. That, and its similarities with Empire Strikes Back, one of the very best sequels ever produced. No pressure, then.
