Stephen King continues half-heartedly but entirely accurately endorsing the latest adaptation of his work

What he lacks in enthusiasm, he makes up for in truth.

While the early reviews have been more stellar as opposed to spectacular, King has clearly thrown his weight behind The Boogeyman, albeit in hilariously half-hearted fashion. Exactly, which does at the very least ensure The Boogeyman will be one worth checking out for King aficionados, if nothing else.
