Suicide Squad Empire Covers Spotlight Deadshot And Harley Quinn

Following the Joker (Jared Leto) and Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) reveals, the latest Suicide Squad-themed Empire Magazine covers feature Aussie actress Margot Robbie as Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn, and Floyd Lawton/Deadshot, who’ll be played by the one and only Will Smith.

Though Smith is undoubtedly the biggest name in the David Ayer-directed DC Comics adaptation, it’s Robbie’s Harley Quinn that’s been the main focus of the marketing thus far, and the team member that fans are most excited about finally seeing brought to life in live-action. Also, it’s been suggested that these two characters will actually be part of a “ragged romantic triangle” with Jared Leto’s Joker. Ummm… I’d back away from that one, Floyd.

Expect these covers to be officially released at some stage this evening (we’ll update when they hit), and the rest of the team to revealed over the next few days.

Suicide Squad also stars Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Adam Beach as Slipknot and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. The movie is set to hit theaters next August.
