While we’ve already seen Suicide Squad star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in his Killer Croc get up, mostly thanks to set photos (which we’ve included for reference below), the shot above, which surfaced this weekend, is perhaps our best look yet at the character. It may not be taken from the film itself, but it’s a quality photo of what is most definitely one of the more intriguing members of the squad.
As you can see, Akinnuoye-Agbaje is standing with fellow cast member Will Smith, as the two celebrate the actor’s 48th birthday. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t give us anything to go on in regards to the character or what role he’ll play in the plot, but it’s nice to get an up-close look at the make-up and prosthetics that Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be sporting. From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like they’ve done a pretty good job here and I’m definitely excited to see how he looks in the finished film.
Suicide Squad will shoot its way into theatres on August 5th, 2016. In the meantime, check out those aforementioned set photos below.
