Here’s A Hi-Res Look At Avengers: Endgame’s New Hulkbuster Armor

Yesterday, a new Chinese poster emerged for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame that showed off the current line-up of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against a cosmic backdrop. It was a nice design, but if you’d rather get a version that doesn’t have a whole load of text plastered across it, then this latest piece of promo art should have you covered.

By now, the core cast of the Avengers: Infinity War sequel has been pretty well defined, from Phase 1 stars like Iron Man and Captain America, to relative newcomers like Captain Marvel. Meanwhile, looming in the background is the big helmeted head of Thanos, and on the top right of the image, you’ll see what appears to be the outline of the Benatar, where Tony Stark was seen trapped in the film’s two trailers.

The part of the image that’s drawn the most discussion, however, is the inclusion of the Hulkbuster armor. Since Bruce Banner was wearing the suit at the climax of Infinity War, it seems plausible enough that he might rely on it once more, though it’s generally assumed that he’ll be working through his Hulk transformation issues sooner or later. At the same time, Tony Stark may find an excuse to wear the armor again, and seeing how Pepper Potts is already confirmed to suit up, surely we can’t rule out the possibility of her also trying out the Hulkbuster.

In any case, now that the second full trailer has dropped, it looks like Marvel Studios is sitting on the rest of its Avengers: Endgame footage for the time being. Still, it’s not long now before we can see the whole thing for ourselves when the film finally hits theaters on April 26th.
