New Clip From The Grand Budapest Hotel Is Full Of Bill Murray

Bill Murray is awesome. Let's just get that out of the way. Combine him with the charming whimsy of a Wes Anderson movie and there's going to be an enjoyable time to be had. Bill Murray is awesome. Let’s just get that out of the way. Combine him with the charming whimsy of a Wes Anderson movie and there’s going to be an enjoyable time to be had. With that in mind, here’s some good news: a new clip from Wes Anderson’s upcoming The Grand Budapest Hotel has been released featuring none other than Bill Groundhog-Day Ghost Bustin’-ass Bill Murray himself.

He’s got a damn fine mustache in the clip, and he’s orchestrating an escape plan that sounds very Wes Anderson-y. Oh, and Ralph Fiennes is in it, too. Also with a mustache. Come to think of it, everyone in the clip has a mustache of some sort. Let’s just hope this doesn’t lead to some sort of mustache Renaissance, because it’s hard enough walking down the streets of Brooklyn as is.

Here’s your synopsis of the film’s plot:

“THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune—all against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.”

Visually, the film looks to be very much in the tradition of Wes Anderson’s signature vintage aesthetic. Imagine Moonrise Kingdom but in a big hotel and you’ve got a good idea of what to expect. If you’re looking for more footage from the film, you’ve got options. Or if you’re not into the whole Wes Anderson thing then… well, we probably have nothing in common.

The Grand Budapest Hotel will be hitting theaters on March 7th. Book your reservations now. Or, if your local theater doesn’t take reservations this far in advance… don’t.
