There’s a lot of very interesting stuff happening on the Australian set of Thor: Ragnarok, with Brisbane, Queensland currently doubling for New York City. So far, a very different looking Anthony Hopkins has been spotted along with an Easter Egg teasing an appearance from another Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero.
Now, some new pictures have surfaced which offer up a glimpse at the costumes being worn by the God of Thunder and his brother Loki in Thor: Ragnarok. We don’t see much of the former, but the God of Mischief appears to be rocking a look which isn’t all that different to those he’s sported in the past.
By far the most intriguing reveal here, however, is a mysterious woman who has been covered up so her costume is entirely obscured. There’s been some speculation that this could be Cate Blanchett as Hela or Jaimie Alexander as Sif, but on closer inspection, it’s pretty clear that isn’t the case. It is however possible that this is a stand in for one of those actresses, but that also seems highly unlikely, and chances are that this is someone completely new. Why has she followed Thor and Loki to Earth? That remains to be seen, but color us intrigued.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, Thor: Ragnarok is set to be released on November 3rd, 2017.
