New Jack Reacher Poster Pushes The Lame-Limit

Here's the latest Hollywood one-sheet poster, featuring a leather-jacket wearing, orange-skinned, gun-toting Tom Cruise behind the promising tagline "The law has limits. He does not." This is not the first poster for Jack Reacher, which stars Cruise as "a homicide investigator (who) digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims," according to IMDb.

Here’s the latest Hollywood one-sheet poster for Jack Reacher, featuring a leather-jacket wearing, orange-skinned, gun-toting Tom Cruise behind the promising tagline “The law has limits. He does not.”

Jack Reacher is directed and co-written by Christopher McQuarrie, who won an Oscar for the screenplay of The Usual Suspects. McQuarrie also wrote Valkyrie, which starred Cruise.

Here’s hoping that Jack Reacher will be more like The Usual Suspects and Valkyrie rather than some of the director/writer’s other recent work, namely, The Tourist. Taking into consideration this lame poster and the even more-boring previous poster though, I can’t say I’m too optimistic.

The film releases in the US on December 21st and and co-stars Rosamund Pike and Richard Jenkins alongside Cruise.
