Travel Back To The Hive With New Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Posters

We're now only a few days away from 2017 and as we head into January, it's time to find some new Netflix shows to binge watch as movie theaters tend to be pretty unexciting throughout the first month or two of the new year. That's because it's a time when studios dump all their trash and trying to find something worth watching is a tough task. Admittedly, February usually yields a few gems and isn't quite as bad, but January is often pretty rough.

However, for many people, there is one big release to look forward to next month, and that’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. While the series is hardly a critical darling, there’s no denying that each installment provides some enjoyable, mindless entertainment. With its hollow set pieces and kickass female protagonist, the Resident Evil films, while lacking substance, do make for a fun watch (if you turn your brain off) and as such, have developed a pretty big fanbase.

We’ll be the first to admit that the acting is often laughable and the plots near incomprehensible, but the series knows how to stage and choreograph action and the latest installment looks no different in that regard. With only a few weeks to go now before it lands in theaters, Screen Gems has released several, hi-res character posters to help you get acquainted with a few of the key figures in this final outing for the series.

Seen below, the one-sheets feature Ali Larter, Ruby Rose, Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen and William Levy striking badass poses, indicating that The Final Chapter will presumably give us more bombastic action and CGI-enhanced set pieces to feast our eyes on when it premieres next month. And given how dull the January release schedule is looking right now, we’ll gladly take that.

For the last time, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will unleash Jovovich’s gun-toting Alice on the undead. It’s earmarked for January 27, 2017, just in time to piggyback off the hype surrounding Capcom’s video game sequel, Resident Evil 7.
