In case it needed to be said, spoilers lie ahead.

A couple of weeks ago, Ruffalo sat down with several of his co-stars for an interview E! News. Discussing the notorious spoiler security measures around this week’s release, the actor gave one example of the “dummy scenes” featured in his script.

“I didn’t even get a whole script of this movie,” Ruffalo said. “I don’t know why. The script I did get had dummy scenes in it. He [pointing to Chris Evans] gets married in this!”

Sure enough, the final minutes of the film show Steve Rogers travel back in time to marry Peggy Carter. Though Ruffalo thought he was kidding, it seems he misjudged which parts of his script were real and which were fake.

So, apparently that’s two Hulk movies in a row that Ruffalo has given away the endings to. For the previous example, you may recall the infamous 2017 incident, when Ruffalo blurted out during an interview with Good Morning America that “everybody dies” in Avengers: Infinity War. Before that, Bruce Banner’s last screen outing was Thor: Ragnarok, and to be fair, he didn’t give away how that film ended – only how it started, when he accidentally live-streamed the first twenty minutes of the movie.

Since then, Ruffalo has also revealed that Hulk and Rocket share some scenes in Avengers: Endgame, and that he also gets some screen time opposite the Ancient One. As for what’s next for the Jade Giant, that’s one thing the star has managed to keep to himself.
