Vin Diesel’s fragile ego said to be running both fast and furious over Jason Momoa stealing the show in ‘Fast X’

Maybe he should do something other than grumble about family for two hours, then.

As the leading man, producer, figurehead, and all-round patriarch of the Fast & Furious family, Vin Diesel has always been the first one to take any blame whenever things go wrong in the franchise.

He was largely named as the culprit behind Dwayne Johnson’s initial departure from the long-running series which obviously sorted itself out eventually, while he was additionally singled out for a barrage of criticism when Justin Lin departed Fast X when shooting was already underway due to “creative differences.”

It’s not a revelation to state that Diesel has a bit of an ego when countless reports have touted just that over the years, while he even compared The Fast Saga to The Lord of the Rings with a completely straight face. With that in mind, a new report has offered that the chrome-domed enemy of sleeves everywhere has grown frustrated with Jason Momoa stealing the headlines for his scenery-devouring turn as Dante Reyes.

Saying that Fast X would have been significantly worse without Momoa’s involvement is 100 percent accurate, and while Radar can’t be held up as a bastion of undisputed truth, it wouldn’t be a stretch of the imagination for the outlet’s purported tales of woe alleging that Diesel is “embarrassed Jason is being branded the only bright spot in the film and stealing his thunder in the franchise he built himself” to be rooted in at least a small degree of reality.

After all, Vin does his usual mumbling and grumbling with zero personality throughout the whole film, whereas Momoa knows exactly what kind of blockbuster he’s in and doesn’t so much steal the show, as put it in his pocket and walk away from an explosion without looking.
