War Machine Gets An Epic New Suit In This Avengers: Endgame Promo Art

By now, you’ve probably seen the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which means you’ve likely caught your first proper, live-action glimpse of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in their new white suits. But in some recently surfaced promo art displaying the team’s fresh uniforms, one design that last week’s preview certainly didn’t show us is the fully battle-ready version of the War Machine armor.

By now, you’ve probably seen the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which means you’ve likely caught your first proper, live-action glimpse of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in their new white suits. The new trailer already gave us an indication that James Rhodes will be wearing a significantly bulkier version of the white suit than most of his peers, but here, Tony Stark’s old friend is towering over the rest of the gang. If this image is to scale, then Rhodey’s feet must be far above the ground in that machine.

While the trailer has yet to show these suits being put to any particular use, the popular prediction right now is that the outfits will allow the gang to journey into the Quantum Realm. This theory also ties in with the expectation that the Avengers’ plan to stop the snap will somehow involve time travel, perhaps using one of those “time vortexes” that are apparently found in the Microverse.

As for War Machine, seeing how the character didn’t get much of an arc in Avengers: Infinity War, it’s hard to say what might be in store for the character, though fans are already loving the trailer shot of Rocket riding on his shoulder. As one of the heroes who’s been in the franchise since the start, there’s a very good chance that Rhodey will be exiting the saga after Avengers: Endgame, but we’ll likely find out if Don Cheadle’s character still has a future left in him when the film hits theaters on April 26th.
