Watch Harrison Ford In This New Ender’s Game Clip

Today, as Comic-Con gets set to kick-off, we have a brand new clip from the highly anticipated sci-fi flick, Ender's Game. This is just a tease for what we'll be seeing during the convention this weekend, where we will undoubtedly get more substantial footage from the film. Still, it offers a great look at some of the effects and shows Harrison Ford bringing some gravitas to the scene.

Today, as Comic-Con gets set to kick-off, we have a brand new clip from the highly anticipated sci-fi flick, Ender’s Game. This is just a tease for what we’ll be seeing during the convention this weekend, where we will undoubtedly get more substantial footage from the film. Still, it offers a great look at some of the effects and shows Harrison Ford bringing some gravitas to the scene as Colonel Graff.

So far, I think that the Gavin Hood-directed film looks great. The YA sci-fi novel certainly has a massive following and so, there’s a lot riding on this adaptation. The panel today at Comic-Con will likely give us an even better look at the film but as of now, I think it’s going to turn out to be a big hit, especially since it already has a pretty large fanbase.

Stay tuned as the film’s panel at Comic-Con is taking place today and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on further details when they’re released.

Check out the clip, and plot summary below. Then, head to the comments and let us know what you think of Ender’s Game so far. Will it be as good as the book?

Starring Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin, Ender’s Game releases in theatres on November 1st, 2013.

In the near future, a hostile alien race (called the Formics) have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander, Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young children to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy, but strategically brilliant boy is pulled out of his school to join the elite.

Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult war games, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham, himself, to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.
