Watch Samuel L. Jackson Recap The Entire Marvel Cinematic Universe In 3 Minutes

To celebrate the arrival of Captain Marvel on digital storefronts, the man behind Nick Fury has recapped the entire history of the MCU in just 3 minutes.

If you’re anything like me, you spent a little over a week watching every single Marvel Cinematic Universe film in the leadup to Avengers: Endgame, in a never-ending marathon session which averaged slightly more than 3 movies a day. Of course, not everyone has the same level of patience, dedication, and frankly, insanity. To be honest, I’m not even sure I would do it again given the circumstances, but that being said, it was a heck of a lot of fun to see the entire 22-film long Infinity Saga play out in the span of a week or so.

Chances are, like most other fans out there, you probably watched the majority of Marvel Studios’ movies as they released, or as they were made available for home purchase. Either way, to celebrate the arrival of Captain Marvel on digital storefronts, Samuel L. Jackson has taken it upon himself to recap the entire MCU in just a few short minutes. The end result was a video posted on the official Avengers Twitter page, which has already been shared over 1,000 times.

In the aforementioned recap (check out the embedded clip above), Samuel L. Jackson introduces viewers to the MCU’s key players, which are, in this case, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk. Oddly enough, despite glossing over Loki and the Chitauri’s invasion of New York City, Black Widow and Hawkeye are not brought up, and the events of Age of Ultron are not even mentioned – in retrospect, we’re starting to realize just how inconsequential that particular movie was.

If you (somehow) have yet to see Avengers: Endgame, don’t fret! Jackson’s recap ends with the final moments of Infinity War, which perfectly segues into the introduction of Captain Marvel. And if you haven’t had the chance to catch Carol Danvers origin story, you’ll be glad to hear that it’s available digitally right now, with a Blu-Ray and DVD release pegged for June 11th.
