Looking forward to Rio? Well today is your lucky day as the first two minutes of the film were released online. Carlos Saldanha, the man who brought us the Ice Age films, is directing this one while Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Rodrigo Santoro, George Lopez and Jake T. Austin will provide the vocal talents. I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for animated films like this. Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Despicable Me, Monsters vs. Aliens etc. I love these kinds of films. Rio is looking particularly promising and I’m definitely excited to see it. Check out the plot summary and clip below.
The story follows “a nerdy macaw who leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro. He embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, learning to open himself up to all that life has to offer along the way.” Looks interesting enough. Check out the clip below.
