Will Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist Or Jessica Jones Show Up In Avengers: Infinity War?

Marvel is experiencing a tremendous amount of success on the small screen. Maybe not so much with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the now cancelled Agent Carter, but certainly over on Netflix, and that's more than making up for their shortcomings elsewhere. Fans have been eating up the series that Marvel has been premiering on the streaming service, and with reviews for the upcoming Luke Cage appearing to be extremely positive, it looks like they've got another hit on their hands.

Marvel is experiencing a tremendous amount of success on the small screen. Maybe not so much with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the now cancelled Agent Carter, but certainly over on Netflix, and that’s more than making up for their shortcomings elsewhere. Fans have been eating up the series that Marvel has been premiering on the streaming service, and with reviews for the upcoming Luke Cage appearing to be extremely positive, it looks like they’ve got another hit on their hands.

Of course, with the surging popularity of Marvel’s Netflix endeavors also comes the all important question of whether or not any of these characters can ever appear on the big screen. And while the studio has kept mostly quiet on the matter so far, directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who will be behind the camera for Avengers: Infinity War, have acknowledged that it’s certainly a possibility.

While speaking to the Toronto Sun, they were asked about the chances of seeing someone like Daredevil or Luke Cage in the Avengers’ next outing, and here’s what they had to say:

“We do consider everyone. We don’t want to get too specific about what’s going to happen with these movies. We want these movies to be a surprise for audiences.”

Sure, it may be vague, but it’s at least an acknowledgement that we may see some of the Netflix characters join up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – even if it doesn’t necessarily happen in Infinity War. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this come to fruition, either.

Throwing the Defenders into the mix would make fans go crazy and be a smart move for Marvel. Blending their cinematic world with their television one may be a bit tricky in terms of logistics, but if they can pull it off and execute it smoothly, we’re all for seeing it happen.

Tell us, would you like to see Daredevil, Luke Cage or any of the other Netflix characters show up in Avengers: Infinity War? Sound off below and let us know!
