When the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens sent the Internet into a frenzy back in November, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, given the sheer amount of hype that preceded it, it’s a modern day miracle that the footage wasn’t pigeonholed to the point of no return for not being the greatest thing in the history of things.

However, in balancing the old with the new, J.J. Abrams and the folks at Disney offered up an excellent taster for the new trilogy, topped off with a spectacular shot of the Millennium Falcon in all its glory. But perhaps the point that was raised the most in the days after its arrival was the whereabouts of the original cast, who were conspicuous by their absence.

Now, thanks to a new report by Latino Review, we have evidence to suggest that the studio is prepping to reveal the likes of Han, Luke and Princess Leia in the film’s second trailer, which has been scheduled to arrive alongside Avengers: Age of Ultron in May. Understandably, the creative team at Disney have been trying to keep the roles of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, and how they weave into Abrams’ reimagined universe, largely under wraps.

Rumors have been swirling that the woman glimpsed in the first trailer (played by Daisey Ridley) is indeed Han and Leia’s daughter, Rey Solo, and that The Force Awakens will chart her adventure as she crosses paths with John Boyega’s wayward stormtropper, Finn. Alas, we’ll likely learn much more about the new-fangled cast members and their relationships with the franchise’s old timers within the second trailer, which is now only 101 days away.

It’s been almost 32 years since we seen the likes of Han, Luke and Leia in action, so tell us, are you looking forward to the trio’s appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
