Wonder Woman Is Out For Justice In New Extended TV Spot

2016 was a rough year for Warner Bros., to say the least. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad succeeded at the box office but not with critics (or most fans), and now, the studio has to be hoping that they can turn things around with Wonder Woman and Justice League, both of which are on course for release later this year.

The former is a big test, too, as it’s the first female-led superhero movie in quite some time. The likes of Catwoman and Elektra pretty much killed that corner of the genre about a decade ago, so Wonder Woman has a lot riding on its shoulders, especially now that it’ll need to open the door for that upcoming Batgirl movie from Joss Whedon.

There’s not long to go until we find out whether or not it will succeed, but in the meantime, the promotional campaign continues apace as we now have an extended TV spot which is all about the Amazon warrior searching for justice. There’s not much in the way of new footage here, which is understandable at this point, but it’s still an exciting teases and includes some cool shots from Diana Prince’s youth.

While Warner Bros. has been guilty of giving too much away in their promo material in the past, they’ve done a pretty good job so far at keeping most of Wonder Woman under wraps. Sure, we’ve seen a healthy amount of footage already, but Ares, for instance, has still been kept away from the spotlight, which only helps build anticipation for the hero’s big screen outing this June.
